| Message: | offer for a GlossHaus test drive. I did a brief web search and came to the conclusion that, based on the degree of damage (quite visible but not through the clearcoat), I might need to test 3000 or 2500 grit wet sanding followed by a GlossHaus-like treatment. Like Lee, I have a sacrificial Guinea pig to test out my wet sanding skills before I try in on the Sixer - the '94 F150 and @ 185K is a true winter beater relative to the Lee's iX. The 10mpg is tolerable knowing that I can 4-wheel through 24 inches of snow. If I can repair clearcoat damage on the F150 - the Lachssilber should be doable. It appears that winter has finally arrived, sleet/snow and temps in the teens starting on Sat so this project may have to wait until spring. Thanks again for the help Tony 1986 Cosmosblau 635CSiA 1989 Lachssilber 635CSi 5-speed | ||||
