how much clearcoat damage can be 'repaired' >> (145 views)

The '89 came with a botched detailing job - scratches in the clearcoat from what looks like 500 grit wet&dry sandpaper - that can't be removed with polishing compound. The plan is a repaint next summer but it would be great if I could spent the $$ budgeted for paint on suspension mods
