Re: brake dust wheel shields (86 views) 
Message: aside from looking terrible they keep heat in and wind up warping the rotors and making a general mess of the brakes with brake dust. they cause squeels as well. DONT DO IT> just wax your wheels next time you wax the car and this will help significantly in keeping the amount of dust down that clings to the rims. plus waxed rims are easier to clean.
