Message: You would need a special reset tool to turn off the service lights. Obviously, BMW dealers have them, but so do most independent service shops that cater to European cars. If you take it to a BMW dealer, chances are that they won't turn off the lights without doing the required service ... $$. However, if you can find an independent shop, they might do for just a minimal service charge.
