Change or Not to Change (fluids) (113 views) (300 thread views) 
Message: I have owned the my 328is since 03. It had 56K on it when I purchased it. Now it has 125k. Should I change the fluids to synthetic/mineral?

OR.. Should I leave well enough alone.

I changed fluids on my toyota years back and shortly there after the tranny went. I was told that the new fluid cleaned out all the crud from the bearings. This in turned caused them to move around more and WHOLA. Time for a new (rebuilt tranny).

I do plan on keeping it for a couple more years..

Suggestions??
