| Message: | Thanks Mr. Bond. No wonder my belt was slapping around with no pressure whatsoever on the dragging side. Thank God I did not move the crank backwards. Seems to me that logically if the pulley had free movement from its mount the spring will maintain constant pressure on the belt even after the belt has worn or stretched thru time. I'm surprised this was not a recall or improvement when they came out with the Z127 part. '89 325i 205654 mls original auto tranny, perfect with Redline. love this car | ||||
