Cruise Control Actuator (53 views) (139 thread views) 
Message: Hey gang... long time no speaky. All is good.

Problem. I identified the clicking noise from under my hood and it is coming from the CC actuator. I tried tapping it, like tapping a relay, but it keeps on clicking.

I read the archived posts and understand there are nylon gears inside the housing and a thread or something connected to the throttle linkage.

I'm in no hurry to replace it as it sees about 4 miles a week.. but...

1. How much would a used part run?
2. Is this something I could replace?
3. Is the noise an annoyance I can bear with, and continue to drive it? Or is it something that should be repaired before she gets back on the road?
