I have owned a 1969 Roadrunner convertible for about 9 years now and I have seen the prices for pristine examples like mine rise into the mid 80s to high 90s. I am considering putting it up on the auction block because I really like the look of the Continental GT and the fact that as a modern automobile, it will have conveniences the RR does not.
My worry is that I will not be able to maintain the Continental GT. If something on the Roadrunner breaks, even a rare NOS part, the most I am going to be out is 1200 bucks (like for the radio, for example).
Can someone tell me what the average "out of warranty" cost is for maintaining a Continental GT? Ballpark it. Oil changes, tune ups, etc
