Stereo problems, HELP...98 e39 (423 views) (518 thread views) 
Message: 98 528i non-DSP, no Nav...

My left side speaker output died, so I figured it was the amp. I bought an amp from a fellow board member, installed it, and still no sound to the left side. I get a short burst of sound from the left side when I first power-up the radio, then nothing. It did this with both the old amp and the replacement. I'm at a loss...don't know what to check next. I'd love to hear from someone with experience and knowledge in this area, mine is limited (meaning non-existent!)
